What is the wavefront technique (eagle eye) ?
In some eyes, despite the correction of myopia, hyperopia, or astigmatism with glasses, the patient can still not see fully and comfortably. The problem with these eyes is not only refractive errors such as myopia or astigmatism, but an optic irregularity referred to as an aberration. Aberrations especially effect night vision and prevent clear vision. In this case, as well as the patient’s refractive errors (myopia, hyperopia or astigmatism), the aberrations also need to be corrected. Such a tailor-made, personal application will mean that night vision problems can be minimized. However, whether the eye is suitable for the wavefront technique will be decided by the doctor depending on test results.
